I love the night.

I love the serene inky black night sky. I love the few diamonds scattered across its plane. I love the wisps of clouds that add a lighter shade to the dark. I love how the Moon trades places with the Sun.

I love the long winding roads that twist and curve across the landscape, giving me an opportunity to wonder upon Homo Sapien ingenuity. I love the periodic attachments of lamp-posts across the edges of my roads. I love it when the photograph I took reflects the speed at which I’m travelling by.

I love the cool breeze of the night. I love the warmth of the night. I love the wind messing up my hair. I love the surprise of watching an owl fly by. I love how the night is somehow louder, more alive than the day, yet retains that sense of tranquility. I love the how the artificial light banishes the dark, but not successfully. I love how the night truly brings out the millions of little discrimination we face in every moment of every day.

I love the night.
